A mid-century landscape rendered in loose, vertical strokes, with a dark tree form set against layered passages of green, blue and soft coral. The composition is built through colour and rhythm rather than detail, with visible brushwork and tonal shifts across the surface.

Fare frequently returned to a palette of blues and greens in his landscapes, using them to structure space and atmosphere rather than describe it directly. Here, those cooler tones are balanced by warmer notes that give the surface depth without disrupting its cohesion.

Signed, lower right by artist Leopold Fare (Sweden, 1926-1996).
