A harbour-side view showing clustered wooden buildings set against water and rising land beyond. Small houses and boathouses are arranged in the foreground, with the shoreline and moored vessels suggested in loose, layered brushwork. The scene is built up gradually, with forms softened rather than sharply defined.

The palette is muted and coastal, dominated by blue-greens and greys, with warmer notes of red and ochre in the buildings. Paint is applied freely, allowing colour and movement to carry the composition.

Oil on canvas, signed by artist Tage Gavik (Sweden, 1914 - 1981).

Dimensions 42x50cm framed.
