An expressive figurative composition built from confident, layered brushwork. Two figures are held together at the centre of the scene, their forms loosely defined but emotionally direct. The palette moves between cool greens and blues and warmer earth tones, giving the painting a sense of movement and immediacy without becoming illustrative. The surface remains active throughout, with visible revisions and textured passages that emphasise gesture over detail.
