Stormy Seas

A characterful small study capturing sea, weather, and motion in broad, expressive strokes.

The painting depicts a choppy seascape with several simplified boat forms rendered in warm ochre tones, set against layered blue and green water. Quick, textured brushstrokes suggest movement on the surface, with small highlights indicating reflected light. A low horizon divides the scene, with distant land or cliffs shown in muted pinks and whites. Above, a dense bank of grey-green clouds creates a moody, weathered atmosphere.

Vintage Condition
