A gently rolling landscape with a river winding through the foreground, opening out into soft, layered fields beyond. The composition has lovely flowing brushwork which creates a sense of movement.

Painted in a muted palette of greens, ochres and soft blues, it has a calm, sun-washed quality that sits beautifully on the wall.

A quietly striking mid-century piece — decorative without being overworked, and particularly easy to place in an interior.

Oil on canvas, signed by artist Albert Kruger (Sweden, 1885- 1965) and dated 1939.

Dimensions 74x61.5cm / 29'x24' framed.

Condition: great condition, no remarks.
